Example one: Little Mix- Black magic
The music video behind the song was released to media platform YouTube 29th May 2015, ahead of the all girl pop band's third UK album 'Get Weird' in November 2015 which featured hit songs like 'Hair' and 'Secret love song ft Jason Derulo'. The song was a huge success due to it's upbeat tune and international support from thousands of fan who awaited the release of more music from Little Mix, the video for Black magic has been watched 310,479,882 times since 2015 and has become a song that is instantly brought to mind when thinking of the band.
I chose this as an example because:

I chose this as an example because:
- the song conforms to the genre of performance in terms of the video because it is acting along to the song in a dramatically way that creates the impression you as the viewer are watching a short snippet of show which is the style of music video the director behind the video favoured (Director X) and a great way of encouraging continuous watching as the video has so many things to watch and focus the attention on, the consumer sub consciously allows it to repeat the video the achieve the full viewing.
- From the video, I found that I like how it made a normal situation creavitly different to the real life scenario therefore adding uniqueness and an individual stamp to make it stand out from any other music video. Furthermore, I liked how each member of the band had a different look as it convayed their individuality through their style or role meaning you feel you are getting closer to the artist making you want to listen to the songs from Little Mix, I feel inspired to make my video with the intent of giving a level of performance and give each member a solo style to add something more.
